I can’t wait for Alice to return this September 2010 for the fourth installment of Resident Evil, Nightmare on Elm Street. Fans will be happy to learn that they don’t have to wait that much longer to see the first trailer for the fourth film. “Just heard that the teaser for RE4 will come out in front of nightmare on elm street!” Milla tweeted. This means on April 30 in the US. “Resident Evil: Afterlife” arrives in US theaters in September 2010 and also stars “Prison Break” hottie Wentworth Miller, Ali Larter and Shawn Roberts. The film is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson on a script also penned by him.

Also, the second trailer for “Nightmare on Elm Street” had dropped and was causing quite a stir with fans of the original franchise and of horror movies in general. Many were reserved when they first heard that Platinum Dunes was set on coming out with a remake for the first film in the series, saying that there was no way they could make Krueger a believable killer in the actual context. It seems those who had doubts were wrong – at least, judging on the trailer alone.

tough times for us

Ever since I started my training, the last four months become tough for me and wiffy. Even if I wanted to help her earn money, I can’t do it. My training is eating a lot of my time and there’s no more time left to do other things except to rest. For that matter, I’ve been thinking about a business that doesn’t require much attention, yet it will still earn.

The only business that fits that category is the vending machines. As I explore the web for its benefits, I learned that they are a 100% cash business and allows me to work from home and set your own hours. That means I can do both my training while I earn money. Other than that, it has lower overhead expenses as it doesn’t require additional employees, do not require rent for an office or additional utilities fees and no advertising expenses; they do their own advertising.

I think it is the perfect venture for me during this time. All I have to do now is to check whether my savings is enough to pay for this franchise business opportunity.

relaxing vacation is what I need

I’m very tired from my training. Having to do everything with no pay makes me want to stop. But, I am almost at the end of it. Good thing, wiffy keeps on motivating me to go on that I can do it. The catch, a nice family vacation after the completion. I think it is all that I need.

Since I am not receiving any financial rewards from the company, I decided to give myself something at the end. I can’t forget the services of Karisma that I wrote before. The elite level of service, luxurious accommodations, invigorating entertainment, classy snap-to service, first-class cuisine rolled in one price is a very attractive deal. However, Karisma’s resorts are located on the secluded white-sand beaches on the Mexican Riviera Maya, which is miles and miles away from here. So, that would be impossible for now, I guess.

Anyway, there are still lots of good vacation destination locally. I can always find one that suites my budget and taste.

Tiger Woods sponsorships fall down?

According to the latest news of BBC WORLD, Gatorade cut ties following Woods’ admission that he was unfaithful to his wife. The drinks company, owned by PepsiCo, had already discontinued a Tiger Woods-themed drink, Tiger Focus. It follows AT&T and Accenture in ending deals.

A spokeswoman for Gatorade said: “We no longer see a role for Tiger in our marketing efforts and have ended our relationship… We wish him all the best.” Its move comes just one week after the star made a frank public address to a select gathering at PGA Tour headquarters in Florida.

Gatorade is the third company to end its relationship with Mr Woods. Communications company AT&T and corporate services business Accenture previously cut their sponsorship deals. Male grooming business Gillette and luxury watchmaker Tag Heuer have also distanced themselves from him. Car making giant General Motors (GM) also said recently an arrangement that allowed Woods free access to its vehicles was over.

The world’s number one golfer did have an endorsement contract with GM’s Buick brand, but that ended in 2008. Such arrangements made Tiger Woods the world’s wealthiest athlete, estimated to have earned $100m a year in endorsement deals before allegations of infidelity emerged in December of last year. Recent study suggested the total economic damage of the Tiger Woods affair to all involved parties could amount to as much as $12bn.

On the other hand, sports equipment giant Nike, which pays Woods a reported $40m a year, has given its support. And video game maker Electronic Arts is to go ahead with plans to roll out an online game featuring the golfer.

Not long ago, wiffy’s brother contacted me regarding a new website. He wants to launch another blog in the next couple of months. But, this time he doesn’t want me to do everything. Instead, he is asking me to give him support as he wants to do everything by himself. If ever, this will be the biggest thing that he will do in terms being a webmaster.

I told him the process that he needs to undertake. Of course, I try relay it in a manner that a novice like him would understand. The first step is for him to buy domain name. Since he is mostly blogging for fun and not to earn money, then he must opt to buy domain names cheap. Or if he wants to earn, then there is a big chance he will be able to gain profit earlier.

Nowadays, due to the tough competition in the market, webmasters can find cheap and affordable domain names. There are even $1.99/yr registrations on .coms at buycheap-domainnames given that person purchase other services like hosting. That is already a big deal as compared to the regular domain price of $10/yr. However, even if that person opts not to purchase other services the domain prices in this site are still cheap.

Anyway, that is just the start of his task. I know he would have a headache once I overload him with too much information. After a day or two that is the time I’ll start talking about hosting.

bathroom makeover plans

All my family and friends know that I give too much value of the things inside my house. I do not want to settle for less. That is the reason I save enough money to buy the best furniture and appliances I can think of. Whenever I have money, the first thing that comes to my mind is to look for the best home improvement product rather than buying gadgets and clothes; unless of course I really don’t have those.

For now, my goal is to buy a new couch and a bathroom suite. It has been ages since I started keeping an eye on several Bathroom Suites I found in the web and malls. I want to convert my super boring bathroom into something sleek, modern and classy. But, it is not that easy. Other than saving the money to buy the product, I also need to save money for labor.

Even if I can afford to purchase the product now because of the huge clearance sale of one online store, I can’t still pursue the idea. I don’t have enough to pay for the labor. So, I would rather choose the couch first because if I leave the money in our account, there is a risk that we will spend it for some other stuff. And, I will just continue saving until I reach an amount adequate for every expense needed for my bathroom makeover.

using electronic gadgets and headache has no correlation

The new scientific study shows that the use of electronic media is not directly linked to the increase incidence of headaches that children, adolescents and teens experience today. The investigation revolved around youngsters because they are most likely to get affected if these devices were to pose any harm. The study analyzed the influence that such devices as television sets, computer games and mobile phones have on children’s incidence of headaches and migraines, and determined that no clear correlation could be established, PhysOrg reports.

Experts worked together towards establishing the links between the prevalence and type of headaches and exposure to electronic devices. The work was conducted on more than 1025 children, all aged between 13 and 17. The group published its results in the latest issue of the respected, open access scientific journal BMC Neurology, in a paper entitled “The association between use of electronic media and prevalence of headache in adolescents: results from a population-based cross-sectional study.”

The team conducted individual interviews with about 489 teenagers who claimed that they had suffered from headaches or migraines. The results obtained were controlled through interviews with 536 individuals who reported experiencing no such distress. When the team cross-referenced the two groups for exposure to television viewing, electronic gaming, mobile phone usage or computer usage, they were unable to find any statistically-significant correlation. A link was discovered, however, between listening to music and headaches.
