Summer is really coming; I can now feel the hot air kissing my cheeks. It’s indeed the perfect time to plan for a great summer vacation. Indeed, everything happens for a reason. Well, I am saying that after a crisis hit wifey. I will not tackle about the incident because it’s not appropriate for this post. The entire thing made her realized that she needs to unwind every now and then. She used to reject the idea of vacation because of our high finances. But, it exhausts her and made her feel sad and lonely that leads to some sort of depression.

With the help of her family, she was able to get back to her old self. She can now smile and laugh. Also, she no longer refuses the idea of going to a vacation. For now we are already planning for our vacation destination and one of our choices is Spain.

Spain is home of sun, sea, sand and sangria, not to mention a mind blowing selection of bed and breakfasts and self-catering holiday Villas in Spain. The fascinating landscapes of the place will provide great experience for us, which she really needs as of this time. There is something about Rome that is very attracting and intriguing to me. Amongst other places, the first one I would want to visit is Italy specifically Rome, then Milan. I guess this has something to do with Rome’s rich history that spans over two and a half thousand years. With that long for sure there are so many things to read and learn. Good thing there are lots of movies about them so I won’t have to stick my nose on the pile of books.

Other than the rich history, Rome also houses a lot of historic structure that molds the whole country. The place is an epic, bubbling-over metropolis harboring lost empires. The St Peter’s Basilica, the Sistine Chapel that was painted by Michelangelo, monuments and museums such as the Vatican Museums and the Colosseum are just few of the tourist attractions of the city.

For those facts, it’s worth to check for Holiday Inn Rome. Since Rome welcomes thousands, if not millions of guest, it’s better to check ahead of time to ensure accommodation. In the next few months, wifey and I will be visiting Dubai and Abu Dhabi, UAE. We heard it’s a great place now because of its extraordinary infrastructure. That’s why we wanted to see that to ourselves. The interest only arises after watching the National Geographic about the different structures that are built to perfection. We just ignored those places before because of the weather. There is nothing we can do about the weather, but I guess seeing the different infrastructure is worth our visit.

I’m just lucky few of my relatives are living there. We can stay in their place during our visit. I already contacted them about it and they agreed to it. Even if the plan is still months away, they are welcoming us already, which is heartwarming.

For that matter, I guess it’s logical to bring presents to my host. I’ve heard my aunt loves to eat local delicacies, so I’ll give her some. My uncle loves cigar, so I’ll give him that. It’s a new year that means another round of vacation planning. Well, despite my financial difficulties, I’m still thinking and determined to go on vacation this year. It’s been a while since the last time I had one. Expenses just piled up the last few years. But, I’m certain things will get better by the end of March this year.

I actually glued my eye on the Puerto Pollensa Holidays. I’ve heard it’s one of the finest holiday destinations I could find. It said to be a perfect place for vacationers seeking a quiet relaxation. Reading different articles about the town takes me back to the olden days of Rome.

Of course, for the active people like hubby there is a range of opportunities for sport, leisure, recreation and entertainment available to people of all ages and interests. But, evening entertainment is mainly hotel based, so no hopes for loud music here. But, it is sure a preferred destination for those who want peace, tranquility and total relaxation.

Oh well, I can’t wait for my vacation days at Pollensa to happen. A little more and that day will surely happen.

tiring and enjoyable day

Yesterday is both a tiring and enjoyable day. I was able to see the nearby City Dubai together with my aunt and her family as well as my brother. We went to visit the Batuta Mall, Mall of Emirates and The Dubai Mall. Well, it took almost all my time and I wasn’t able to do some work.

Mountain hiking is one of the activities I like doing when I was single. I clearly remember that I’m always having something on my plate every month. That’s why I end up investing in good quality sleeping bags. But, it doesn’t come easy. Being a student, I need to work hard to earn the money needed for my mountain climbing gears and gadget.

My parents and older sister aren’t that supportive to me on that part of my life. So, I end up having to work for my needs. They even cut back my allowance just to hinder me from attending such activities. Well, I’m hard-headed type of person especially if I know the activity would not do me any harm.

At that time I already knew the benefits of camping and hiking, thanks to the internet. It gives me the pleasure of seeing nature that takes away my stress. It gives me more aware of the greatness of nature that surrounds me which I normally take for granted. Also, my social skills improve as I get to know more and more people joining the activity.

I want to go back on those times. But, I have to make some priorities especially now that I’m having a family of my own. I just thought that was the case. It’s actually a relief when wifey said that she wants to go on hiking with me sometime in the future. It means I have to look for my old sleeping bags or I’ll just have to purchase another one.

the longest flight I had

I have to admit we have the longest flight today. Supposedly, our flying time is only an hour and half. But, due to the cloudy skies and the defective radar of the airport, our flight took two hours and forty minutes. The pilot even suggests landing to a different airport, which is two hours away by bus.

Whew! Good thing the pilot finds a way to land at the right airport. The crew even congratulates him for that. Well, we are still lucky the pilot knows how to maneuver the cloudy skies. Even if late, we are fortunate we no longer need to take a two hour ride to get to our place.

It’s a little boring this day. After the mass, we immediately went to the mall to buy meats to grill. Then, wiffy’s dad does all grilling while everyone is busy doing the rest. However, since I am still considered a visitor, I am left in one corner watching the automatic shutdown tv. At home, wiffy is still not in the mood for a good conversation because she still needs to finish some pending assignments. Good thing, I now have my computer to surf the web of whatever I deem interesting.

Fortunate, enough I came across the Tamarindo Real Estate website. In case you don’t know, Tamarindo is a small, peaceful beach town on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. And it’s one of the hottest real estate markets in the world right now. Hundreds of condos and homes are being developed in this once secret paradise.

Even before Costa Rica is a haven for most tourists with its warm tropical climate, beautiful Pacific and Atlantic coast beaches, unspoiled rainforests and national parks that attract almost everyone. So, living there is like living in paradise.

It’s been a while since I last updated this site. I got stuck with so many things that hinder me to put some update. I am even thinking of removing this site if ever I can’t do anything with the situation. Thank goodness I found the Adults Only Mexico Resort that gives me an idea on what to write. I can’t think of anything to write for the past two months.

Well, it is truly an exciting vacation option. I wonder when will be the time I will visit this place.
