a sad day for sister’s family

Early this morning, I pay a visit to my sister’s father-in law who is fighting for his life in the hospital. He is in the ICU because of stroke. Actually, it is his eight times to suffer the illness. The doctors said that it is no longer advisable for him to undergo operation as there is no chance he will survive. The clotting already reached his spine that affects most of his system. They will just see if the medicines can reduce the clotting, then there is a possibility for his to survive.

The old lady hugs me and cried over my shoulders when I arrived in the hospital. She and the husband (the patient) got closed when I nurse the guy the first few times he suffered stroke. Now, it seems like it is the end of the line for him. Only the mechanical ventilator keeps him alive.

Well, I guess that’s life. I just feel sad for the situation of the old man. But, I can’t do anything about it except give my prayers and let fate takes its course.
