The most important tool in coping with a break-up is your mindset. Accept it, deal with the pain instead of trying to lock it away. Be Kind to Yourself, get enough rest and eat the right food. Make a Clean Break, drop all communication from your ex after the breakup to avoid exposing yourself further to pain. Get Rid of Reminders, make a symbolic gestures that that person is really out of your life by removing pictures and even ticket stubs that you’re keeping. Do Something Different, find a new hobby or go on a vacation to give you renewed sense of confidence, self-esteem, and self-worth.
